Why would you need an inspection on a newly built home?
Hacienda Inspectors will complete a full inspection of your new home to make sure appliances are connected and working properly. Your heating and cooling unit will be inspected and temperatures will be taken in each room to make sure the units and ducts meet specifications. GFCI (Ground fault circuit interrupter) outlets are checked to see if they will trip when you need them most. Insulation will be measured and your windows will be inspected for proper installation. The plumbing will be checked for leaks and proper flow and the electrical system and all lighting and outlets will be inspected. The roof will also be inspected (A new roof can not be walked on due to the fact the tiles are still uncured - a thorough inspection will be completed from a ladder along the perimeter edge of the home), and much, much more...

A One Year Warranty Inspection can help you get a list together to give your builder at your one year anniversary. Builders give you a year before they ask for the final "fix-it" list. In most cases this is your last chance to get repairs made by the builder. Is everything in your house working the way it should? Did all the repairs from your Pre-Closing Inspection get taken care of to your satisfaction?
